Wash Your Day With Bed Time Skin Care Routine

Cleaning your face before moisturising is as important as washing your hands before eating. It takes only 2 minutes of your precious time. So, get off your laziness and give your skin very much needed 5 minutes of pampering before you go to bed.

1. Cleansing

Remove your makeup by using makeup removers, Cleanser or oils or oil blends. Take a few drop of oil and gently massage into your face for a minute in the circular motion. Now wash your face with gentle cleanser or face washes for another minute in the circular motion.

2. Toning


Toning cleanses the skin and helps in shrinking the appearances of pores. This step takes only 30 seconds.

Rose water works wonder for every skin type even the sensitive one. It has anti-bacterial(Oily/Acne prone skin), anti-inflammatory(Sensitive skin), antioxidant(All skin), hydrating property(Dry Skin). So, Just pick the rose water lying on your shelf rather than buying an expensive toner for yourself.

3. Spot Treatment

If you are having any skin condition then it is better to use your spot treatment before moisturiser. If you are using skin treatment, it is best to wait for 5-10 minutes to apply moisturiser. You should not use two skin treatment at once. Use a moisturiser after a spot treatment to hydrate your skin.

4. Moisturising

Moisturisers make the skin smooth and pliable by locking the moisture into the skin. Apply Moisturiser on the still damp face. Put tiny dots of moisturiser on your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose and work it into your skin into circular motion.

Tips to Remember:
  1. Skin type is different so are the product.
  2. It is important to pick the right product for your skin type.
  3. Avoid heavy fragrance product on your face.
  4. Use eye cream if you have dark circles.
  5. Never forget your SPF and especially if you are on a skin treatment.
  6. You don’t have to spend more when you can get the same result in drug store brands.
  7. Expensive doesn’t guarantee its worth.
  8. Healthy eating reflects on your skin. So, Start eating Green, Red and Yellow fruits and vegetables.
  9. No cosmetics can replace a dermatologist if you are suffering from skin problem.
  10. And most important, don’t take the stress.
